|
|
I just joined this site. I have a lot of documents that I have scanned. There are a lot of black spots all over the photos. The documents (photos) are in the jpg format. How do I use Photoshop CS6 to remove these spot. I have tried using MS Paint. But it takes over 30 minutes to do each photo. I really need some help with this. Someone please help.
Thanks

It should be very easy in CS6 just use the Spot Healing Brush Tool. |

Scan them as high res tiff and open them in RAW and do your processing from there, it will give better results.
In RAW use the heal tool (pull it out large enough to cover the spot) and as a bonus if you have repeating spots throughout images you can select synchronise, combine it with folders of images to effectively batch. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

I would unclick the Aligned tab on the Clone Stamp and pick a clean spot on the edge for the source. If black spots are close to other stuff the healing brush may pick up some of the nearby color.
Replying to an old post but I just noticed it.... |
