Hi all,
If I am wanting a friend to send an image via email what is the best resolution for it to be sent and is their any other rules. The reason is i am going to restore the image.

If this is to work on... send at high res TIFF (300 ppi at print size, if it is a normal size photo). Check with your ISP (and their's) to find out cap on attachment size. Also, have your friend zip it to reduce file size (lossless) and better protect data in transfer.
(If the file is too big for email attaching, check with your ISP to see if you have an FTP site. Your friend could then upload image there.) |
