im making a simple avatar and wish to put my name over it so people cant right click and copy with out name being all over it, im going to make it public on a forum i belong to but i dont want anyone getting only people that i give it too, any ideas?

this method involves channels and patterns and such, and will take much longer to do than wayne's way. I really don't know if it's any more effective, but it does maybe llok a bit better.

Isn't there a way to batch watermark? I've never done it but I vaguely remember reading about it.

Watermarking is useful. I do it for fanart I intend for myself only but I never watermark fanart I've made for others unless requested.

Watermarking an animation is an extra step or two but worth it.

you certainly can batch watermark. Record an action while you're watermarking something and then go to file > automate > batch

the important part is that allt he files you're going to watermark be the same pixel size. If not your watermarks will be all over the place, some would be in the middle of an image or some might not show upa t all because they're outside the canvas.
