I have a profile for my screen, created by using the Windows 7 calibration tool, I also have a profile for my printer created by the manufacturer after I sent in a colour swatch printed using no colour management.

My question is:

1. When opening an image, do I convert my images with an embedded profile to the working space.
2. In photoshop do I under "assign profile", use the screen calibrated profile or the printer profile for paper/ink combination.
3. When printing, do i use Photoshop manages colours or printer manages colours [whats the difference], also I assume I use the pronter profile for the paper/ink combination.

Thanks in advance.
