hmm...
Try alinging that image to the right and not the left
As well, your td's are empty, add non breaking space into each td between the lft and right storybox images.
For example, with no spaces: & n b s p ;
If you notce, when you give the td's a border, the problem is fixed. perhaps a quick and dirty fix would be to give them a 1px border the same color as the background..??
