I'm trying to produce a color pboto book at Blurb.com. When I use there profile and check the "simulate color paper" box my photo gets a gray washed out look, how can I keep the profile but get my picture back to the way it was? Is there a chart to see what changed in the photo when I added the profile? Thanks. |

Without signing up to the website it will be difficult for anyone here to help you hmunster123, although strictly as a guess, it sounds as if you are directly choosing an option to colour your image with a simulated paper colour and perhaps not affecting the books paper.
I would imagine you would get more joy if you posed this question at their website.

Sorry, let me be clear.
Your problem is by all accounts with Blurbs software interface, therefore the most obvious course of action would be to go and ask Blurb why. Asking members of PhotoshopForums, who in all probability don't have access to Blurb is always going to be a big ask, we would be shooting in the dark, or at least with one hand behind our back.
Not to say if we had all the details that we couldn't help.
