|
|
I'm using Photoshop Elements 11 and have successfully changed the shirt color on a person in my photo. The problem is that this person has long hair and thus, in order to include all parts of the shirt to be changed, it included some chunks of the bottom part of the hair. I now have a mess of chopped up hair and some original shirt color under some wisps of hair I was not able to select.
Perhaps there is a better way to change the color of a shirt when there is hair unevenly covering parts of it? |

As you haven't said what method you used, it's impossible to suggest a better one. |

Current method is as follows:
- Used "Quick Selection" tool to identify area of shirt
- Created a "Solid Color Layer" to select the new color
- Changed the "Blend Mode" from "normal" to "color" to retain shirt detail
- Lowered the opacity to soften color of shirt |
