Hi all.
I am using rgb color and adobe rgb for printing, however my image on screen looks good but when i print it of it goes very dark and lacking midtones. I have changed my printer settings many times but cannot reproduce what is on the screen. The printer i use is a epson r200. Please help

It’s a long hard road…
First get good monitor calibration AND profile by running Adobe Gamma.
Then make sure you have the latest paper profiles and printer drivers downloaded from Epson.
And use Epson inks and papers.
Then use Print with Preview from Photoshop and choose ARGB as your source space and the correct Epson printer and profile as your target space…
From then on… I’m on a Mac so it may be different… but I choose NO color adjustment from the printer’s dialog with proper paper choice at high quality to get best results. |
