What colour space are you using RGB or SRGB or something else?
It's under edit/colour settings. Wayne

it says sRGB IEC61966-2.1

Excellent!! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction - i set it to Monitor RGB (my monitor make's preset) and its all perfect!!! Thank you very much :) :)
