Hello Everyone,
Could someone help me please, I have a couple of digital still images i took of the northern lights were i live, they all lok nice but there are power lines running through the heart of the lights. I've tried everything to remove them (at least i think i did), but nothing looks good.
My question is: what would be the best method to remove the power lines in these photos.
Thx to eveyone

Specifically, what have you tried besides "everything"? Clone tool set to lighten mode? Healing brush? Can you post an example? |

Is there not a way i can just circle the power lines and remove them? I'm still a newbie at photoshop so please bare with me. >I thought photoshop was spose to be the greatest thing for still images, thats why i went out and spent a whole-lot of money on it. |

I can buy a Mercedes-Benz, but if don’t know how to drive, that doesn’t make it a bad car.
Try this:
Use the lasso to select around the power lines. Now go: Filter>Noise>Dust and Scratches. Play around with the settings (lower pixel radius keeps more detail) to see if you can get the lines to disappear, but still keep the Northern Lights.
Again, posting the image would help. |

try using the color selection tool, then select the nearest color to the things u want to erase...then using the smallest brush, paint over it... _________________ PainBall Action-Full color printing- "Color is what music is to silence" |
