Gah...
I spent about 3 hours mastering this picture for my website and at the end I get this huge disapointment. It is telling me that the format of the picture is not correct.... I have heard rumors that this may be due to not having it in RGB or RBG...{ =] } mode. If this is the case then could some one please explain how to correct the problem.

These are not the files that I just got done with, but I am having the same trouble with these as my current masterpiece. Could some one please help me out....? Confused Cry Confused

You heard correct. You can't display a jpeg as cmyk on the web. Go to Image -> Mode -> RGB to switch it to RGB mode. That should sort things out.

Ok.... Well my problem enlies in when I try to actually view the file after I have saved it. For some reason I can see it on this forum, but when I do the same thing on my computer it brings back a message saying that it is not a valid bitmap or the format is not currently supported.

Sorry if I seem to be a jerk at the moment, but I am having this problem with several pictures and no one seems to be able to help.

How are you trying to view it on your computer? Can you open it in MS Paint? Can you open it in a browser? It could be a problem with the program you're using to view it...

I can open it fine in MS Paint as well. What are the steps you're taking to open it in MS Paint?
