Hi,
I am looking for reproduce thoses two special effects I saw on this video
but I don't know on whitch menu he gets (and which ver. of ps is it - I have the CS1)

at 14:59min he removes the mid ranges using image editing software (I hope it's ps but it looks to be it)

at 15:09min he adjusts it to the perfect levels so it easy to turn into a picture for manga

these are captures for make it quicker
