Hoping someone can help me.
In June it will be five years since my Grandfather passed away, and to commemerate it, I want to get a photo of him turned from Black and White to Colour.
I have looked at tutorials on doing this myself but have come to the realisation that it is going to be a bigger task than what I can take on.
For a bit of History my Grandfather was Geoffrey Fisken, and was a pilot for the RNZAF over Guadacanal in the defence of Singapore against the Japanese. He first flew in the Brewster Buffalo before being assigned a P40-E Kittyhawk, named the "Waiarapa Wildcat". He ended up with the honour of getting the DFC and being noted as the highest scoring fighter pilot for the British Commonwealth against the Japanese. The photo I want to honour his memory with is him standing in front of his plane.
If someone can help, I would be ever so grateful. I have attached a smaller resolution photo to this post, so if anyone is keen on taking this on but needs a Higher Resolution photo to work with, please let me know.
Thanks in advance. |
