|
|
Hi I'm not sure if this can be done but I am trying to select two areas on a wall with the Polygonal Lasso tool.
I'm drawing a rectangle on one part of the wall and creating a layer for it.
On another part of the wall I'm trying to do the same thing and create another layer for the second rectangle.
I want to be able to fill each of the rectangles with a different colour.
Even though they are on different layers I can't get them to show different colours. If I click one rectangle with the Paint Bucket tool and give it a colour the same colour appears in the other rectangle.
Is there a solution, thanks. I'm using CS5 on a Mac |

When you are applying the color to a specific layer, first thing you should to check is, that specific layer is selected or not. You have to select both the layer individually when you are going to apply any specific color. |
