My daughter uses cs6 in school. I want her to be able to do homework at home (duh) but can't afford to pay for the software. What could I buy so she can work on her work at home then take it back to school and continue? Like another Adobe Photoshop version that would be compatible and affordable.

I've used different versions of Photoshop and in my experience, Photoshop files created in one version are compatible in other versions.

The Photoshop licensing model has changed from a purchase price, to an annual subscription fee. For individuals, you can have the latest version of Photoshop and Lightroom for $9.99 per month;

To save yourself a bit of money, you can trial a fully functional version of Photoshop first, free for 30 days, then start your subscription.
