Hi.
This is my first message on this forum. I have attached a copy of a very old photo the original having been destroyed many years ago. I have restored hundreds in the past but this one is proving to be very difficult. I just cannot accept defeat but really need some fresh guidance. It does not have much going for it but I just cannot give up. Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers. _________________ Been using PS since around 2000. Hi Kevin, I can see the potential in this photo once it's restored It's hard to comment really without opening up the original file in PS, but I think you are going to have to get right into the pixels on this one, you should be able to definitely make it better and clear it up quite nicely with the healing brush and clone tool, but first I would run through a few noise filters. Let us know how you get on |

Yeah I agree with SC Photo, (..... get right into the pixels on this one)
It's absolutely doable but it will very tedious work.
I always convert it to B&W first |

Hi. Thanks for the two replies.
I have found another pic of the girl on the right
that matches the expression on the original,
except for the eyes. I can fix that, but feel that
I am cheating! I have no other pics of the other
two girls, but their faces can be fixed. Once the
faces are repaired, the rest will be easy. Cheers.
