I have an old photo with a giant flash over some of the people. Is it possible to get this out? I tried to use the darken filter and brush it over the hot spots but it looks like a painted mess. But the face are too blurry, I may not be able to restore it. I tried to sharpen the pic by using filter>high pass and it helped some but the face are still blurry.

I consider myself quite good at photo restoration, and in my opinion I think this is too badly damaged :/
