Using Photoshop CS4 and windows 7.
I am trying to place a text on an image. The image in question has an area that I have cut and pasted multiple pieces to create a uniformed off white colored background. When I apply the text tool and type the text it comes out fine, until I place the text over the off white area. The text becomes unreadable/invisible when placed over the said area. I suspect I will need to move the text "upfront" in order to view it. Can some one please offer some good advice on how to address this issue?

Make certain that your type layer is the top layer.
