Hello all.

A situation I run into often:

I'm editing a file in Photoshop. I finish, save it, close the file, keep PS open. Then I have to move the file, or the folder that the file is in and Windows complains that the file is in use. I close PS, then I can move the file.

Does anyone know how I can remove the file from PS's memory or whatever so I don't have to close the program every time? I tried "Purge" but it didn't help. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I've had the same issue with other programs besides Photoshop, so I'd have to assume it's a Windows thing.

I've had it happen with other programs too, but then again, some programs don't seem to do that. Which might imply that it's not necessarily a Windows thing.
