|
|
Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place!
I have used the pen tool (path mode) to create an outline of a bowling pin. I then stroked the path so it is a visible outline. To create the two stripes that are on the neck of the bowling pin, I used the pen tool again in shape layer mode since the stripes are pretty thick. I successfully combined the two shape layer stripes into one shape layer. So I now have one shape layer that is two stripes, and one regular layer that has a stroked path on it. Is there a way to combine this stroked path with the shape layer so it is all one shape layer?
I am guessing I am going about this all wrong as well, so if that is the case let me know. The reason I went with a stroked path is I need this to be relatively simple, sort of like old school clipart, as it will be for a t-shirt. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Select both layers, right click and select Merge Shapes. |

I think I am screwing something up, the only option I have along those lines is merge layer. If I do that and scale down a and then up again it pixilates unlike a vector
