First, I apologize for the very dumb question. But I've spent the last 3 HOURS trying to fix this and cannot figure it out.
I am using a very old version of Photoshop (5.0).
It has a toolbox window on the upper lefthand side of the screen.
The top leftmost tool used to be the rectangular tool but somehow it has been unintentionally changed to be some sort of "crop" tool. I believe other things have also changed.
How do I get the old tools back??
Any helpful replies appreciated. |

Try here, i had the same issue a few years back and i needed to delete the preferences folder, next time you open cs5 it will create a new one with the factory settings

Thanks.
I played around with the files under the "Adobe Photoshop Settings" subdir, and found if I deleted the "Adobe Photoshop 5 Prefs.psp", that one rest my toolbar back to normal when I restarted. I have to go back & change a bunch of other stuff manually (like my scratch disk settings) but at least I got the tools back like I was used to. Crazy!
Thanks again. |
