I just found this forum and I hope to learn new things. Ive been using Photoshop since it came in "floppy" install disks.
I currently use CS6 even though I can use the new CC. I have it installed, but honestly, I dont see a large difference, so I just stick with CS6.
I am one of those "weirdos" that prefer Win 7, sorry Apple. Ive used Macs since I took classes decades ago, but prefer PC/ windows.
Ive tried to "join in" at the Adobe forums, but seem have gotten the cold shoulder because of my preference of windows.
I was trying to get some input on a new mobile workstation and got very little "advise"
I finally made a choice and tomorrow my new mobile workstation arrives !!!!!
I hope I made a good choice. I got a Eurocom Panther 5. Its probably overkill, but, Ive been really Ill and money less for 5 years. Ive been thru hell in all aspects so I thought Id indulge.
Anyway, thank you for letting me join and even though Ive been using Photoshop for so long, I keep learning new things and love digital photography.

Thanks for the welcomes.
So far, Im pleased with the new laptop. Im finding photoshop tasks that took forever, so much faster.
I just calibrated my monitor and let me tell you, laptop displays are so much more difficult to calibrate than standard monitors.
