Hi all
I run cs5 on a 128GB MacBook air. I do a lot of makro work and here I do from time to time some focusstacking. Yesterday I tried a stack of 98 pics but could not.
I threw everything of the HD that was not needed and was left with 66gig of free space. Than I dedicated my external HD with 230gig free space as the scratch disk of PS.
I opened the raw file via LR in PS as layers. The next step I still could perform was to "Auto align" images. At the conclusion of this process I had 60ood MEG left on the HD. Needless to say, too little to "autoblend" the layers and create a image.
I looked everywhere for the temp file PS seems to create, or any other resource PS is using.
Where are these 65,3giga bite of temporary files this program is creating in one step. Surely there must be a better way to run and design a program than to block 60gig of HD space, especially as the scratch disc is somewhere else
A solution other than "Buy another machine, get a bigger HD etc" would be greatly appreciated
Thanks everyone
