When I print a pdf image, I get a certain print quality. Sometimes, for reasons of scaling, I change the image to (for example) 80%, then do a Print Screen, and paste it on a fresh Photoshop page, then save as a .bmp file. The quality of the resulting bmp file has dropped from the original pdf file.
If I drop the image onto a DPaint page, the same (lower) quality occurs.
Any ideas of how to keep the quality?

Hi bobalux, when you do a Print Screen you are reducing the image resolution to 72dpi. Instead before you do the 80% reduction do a save as and save the file as a new file with a new name, maybe numbered: file, file01, file02 etc. Then do your 80% and save that file, keeping it in Photoshop the whole time. That way you will not be dropping the resolution. The problem is the Print Screen.
