I'm new to Photoshop and have been experimenting, watching videos, reading articles, that kind of thing, and hit a wall.

I'm attempting to use area type on a photo to add a paragraph, but it is not working. I've used the drag and drop feature with the Type button, I get the text box set up, attempt to paste the paragraph (or enter some text as a test) and every single time it insists on running in a straight line across and off the 'page' and not wrapping, like it's point text. [Bang Head]

Any help is greatly appreciated.

well if you make the box with the text tool, it should leave the box's perimeter. You sure you made the box's edges within the frame of the image and have it visible when you type? you should see the dotted line of the box visible while you type.
If yes, then I dunno :/
