Hi everyone!
I have to print out a very large batch of pictures, and I need your help, please!
I need to print my pictures in a 3x4 size, so I place two of them side by side on one 6x4 document, so that I can then cut the copy in half and get two 3x4s
The trouble is, the place I'm printing them at (which is the cheapest I've found, because as I say I have to do a lot of copies) crops a bit off the margins. I have calculated how much they chop off, so now I need to leave a white margin around my pictures of exactly that size (it is 4mm).
The image attatched is an example of what I need to obtain.
As I said, I have to do hundreds, and at the moment all my pictures are sized at exactly 3x4.
Can you think of a way that would help me do this fast, so I don't have to manually resize and place every picture?
If anyone could give me some tips, it would be of great help!

If I understand you correctly, just set up an action to increase the canvas size by 4mm. |

I think she asks if there is a way to resize the canvas without having to open every picture one by one and doing the action on every single picture. Unfortunately I think there isn't any other way Irene. |

You don't have open each picture and run an action. Actions can be automated to perform their action on an entire folder fell of photos.
Go to File-Automate-Batch, select the folder and the action will run on all the images automatically. |

Yes, I think setting up an action would work for the second part, for leaving the white margin. Thanks for the tip.
But can you think of any way that could save me some time on getting two 3x4s onto one 4x6?
I'm using smart guides at the moment, which I had never used before, and the truth is it's much easier.
I don't think there's a way to automat this, is there?
