Quick question, which are the industry standard color settings in both Photoshop and Illustrator? I'm about to send a business card design off to a print shop for printing and I want to make sure that I'm using an industry standard setting (although this may already be too late)

I'm currently using....

For RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1
For CMYK: U.S. Web coated (SWOP) v2

I know every print shop has their printers and monitors calibrated differently, but I'm hoping that there is a standard that I can use so that I can design my work as closely to the final print as possible...if there is, please let me know...thanx

That would be fine. As long as you have saved as CYMK and have assigned that profile.

You should be fine for the card. But most PS files to go to press or inkjet print should use US Prepress Default as their color setting. This default uses the Adobe (1998) RGB space, which has a much wider gamut than sRGB.
