So usually i dont do this. I am always in the habit of undoing a resize after i save it at the smaller size. But in this case i didn't and just closed photoshop and it asked me if i wanted to save the file and before i noticed it was the resized one i cliked save...
The file may be salvageable because the only pixel bearing layer is a Smart Object of a RAW file from a canon 5d2. Every layer on top is just adjustment layers with some masks. Even after the resize the smart object is still full rez (i think) so if i were to open the image back and resize it to the full size, would the only thing that would lose resolution be my masks?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Yeah it makes sense that smart objects should be salvageable while any raster layers or masks will be stuck at the lower resolution.
If its mostly soft masks you might be able to get away with it.
Just try it and if you cant see a difference then happy days. |
