When saving files, the format that photoshop creates is not what I am saving in the pull down menu. When saving a .psd it saves as .psb. A save as .tiff gives me .iff. What is going on? I really don't want to reinstall Photoshop if I can reset or trash preferences. Thanks. |

To reset or delete the preferences hold down Alt, Ctrl, and Shift keys (Mac: Command, Option, Shift) while starting up Photoshop.
Sounds like an odd problem you are having. |

I found out how to do that and I was able to save as .psd. I just checked and figured out what it is doing but is still weird. When I pull down for TIF is put an extension for the pull down just above tag. The third down is a Perfect Resize Format and I am now wondering if this is an issue with that install since it is recent. I will be contacting them shortly to see what they say. |
