|
I am having a problem in Photoshop CS where my greyscale is purple.
When I have an image that is already black and white, I have no problems editing it or printing it. Also if I have a full colour image, I don't appear to have any problem with greyscale at all.
The problem arises when I go to convert the "mode" of a colour image to greyscale, or when I create a new image with a transparent background and put any greyscale in it.
I've tried the Adobe Gamma program with no avail, but I have heard that the Adobe Gamma program is disabled with all ATI drivers after v4.6.
Here is an example of the colour problems.

Does desaturating it give you the same problem? (Shift+Ctrl+U)
You could try messing around with some of the stuff in the color settings. (Shift+Ctrl+K) _________________ Best Regards,

Its not a saturation issue, also my color profile is correct.
The problem is that the greyscale is purple when it is rendered over a transparent background. Anything from 1% to 99% opacity displayes as purple instead of grey. |
