New to Ps CS7, I'm coming from Ai CS4. I am designing a glowing text project and my brush tool will not work on the layer with the cloud-color dodge effect. Any ideas? Much appreciated.

Not sure exactly what you are talking about but I am presuming color dodge blending mode.
Just change the layer blend mode to normal and check that the brush tool is working then change it back to color dodge.
Blend modes can play havoc with your sanity if you dont fully understand how they work.
If you still are having trouble try and provide a bit more specific information about the problem or even screenshots. |
