|
|
I just noticed something funny:
A Google ad at the bottom of the forum page that advertised a "Rollip" software that edited images, that was like preaching to the choir! We already use the best software out there. Is it wise to advertise about the MAC in a windows forum? |

I went ahead and split this off into its own thread.
I think there are two trains of thoughts here:
1. It's not smart because Windows uses are so loyal they'll never switch to Mac.
2. It's smart because these are people who use software and smart marketing can convince a percentage to switch.
If you are an unknown trying to gain exposure, then it makes sense to advertise in front of graphic professionals, which is what this community is full of.
Just my thoughts.

I don't see any problem with it. I have a MacBook Pro with a Virtual Machine installed running Win 7 as well as a Partition running Win 7 on the same machine. PSCS5 Extended on both Windows OSes and PSCS6 Extended on the Mac platform. My CS6 installation isn't MS friendly and the CS5 isn't Mac friendly.
Hate for either platform limits your resources. |
