Alienskin's Blow Up plugin claims it can enlarge a photo up to 6 times without loss of quality. Have you tried it?

Does it perform better than PS's enlargement?

I have not tried it. I use photozoom pro.
Any 3rd party should work a lot better than Photoshop because enlarge in PS is not aimed at large scale upsize with minimum quality loss.

3 main ones are:
- On's Perfect Resize
- Alienskin's Blow up
- BenVista's Photozoom

Just looking around the net they all seem to have fans of each. It also seems as if some do a better job than others when it comes to the type of image your enlarging.
The '6 times without loss of quality' claim is a bit dubious. They do a great job of enlarging images but they can only do so much.
