Brush is all of a sudden pixelated

Hey guys!

So, I was sitting editing and everything was fine. I was going to mask in some levels adjustments when I noticed the brush is all pixelated, if that's the correct term.



I reset all the tools without fixing the issue, neither did reset the whole program back to original. Anybody know what this is?

You paint on a mask of the layer with Dissolve Blend mode.
So all semitransparent ereas come out dissolved.
