|
|
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I was tasked a couple days ago to "defecate out a logo for the unit" in more or less words and here I am. I'm a Corporal in the Marine Corps currently deployed with II MEF FWD C-1 or just C-1. I'm looking to have a logo made to go on an olive drab T shirt that will be distributed to over 500 Marines and Sailors attached to us. The guidelines I was given was "In an attempt to further establish our identity the challenge of creating a section logo is issued to the C-1 staff. The expectation is that the design will remain professional and in good taste." The Unit name is II MEF FWD and the section is C-1. My due date is 1 July, so I'm honestly just taking a chance here. Normal unit T shirts in a deployed environment have something to do with Operation Enduring Freedom 12-13 or something to do with the actual unit, i'll leave that to the creator and take what i can get. We do not have Photoshop here, most of the programs on the Government computers are outdated as a note for compatibility. We don't have access to media sharing sites either like photobucket and tinypic. To my understanding it will not be just one design that is used. They will be having multiple so the more I can provide the better.
Update #1 The shirts will be sold and the creator will be paid an agreed upon fee. The deadline was extended so I'm looking for someone asap.
Thank you in advance.
Cpl Hall, Kyle
