Hi all!
I love everything about PS and work with it every day. I´m not very good at the thecnical part though.
Since I installed cs6 extended (had cs4 before) via Creative Cloud I have experienced big problems with crashes. First I noticed was that when starting Filter - Render - Lighting effects PS emediatley crashes (Photoshop has quit function.... bla bla bla).
When I´m working with a file that at start have no problem saving suddenly it just stop to function. Same problem again. Photoshop crasches and make a recocvery file for me to open later. But this file is also unabled to save. Seem like there is problem with specific layers in the file.
Anyway it´s very frustrating and I would be sooo happy if someone could help me with this?
Yes, I could use some more RAM on my computer but it´s not that bad. My graphic card is just fine.
Sincerely

Hey,
The blah blah part although technical can sometimes hold the key to the type of problems that your experiencing. So I your could take a screen shot or take note of that part of the error message it may help narrow down the problem.
Have you tried enabling Open GL Drawing in Edit>Preferences>Performance.
Then click Advanced Settings and Forced Billinear Interpolation.
All the problems similar to yours seem to be occurring thanks to the new GPU-accelerated features of Photoshop. |

Very simply my Photoshop 8.0 will not open. I opened it the other day by a suggestion to press Ctrl-C-Shift or something to that effect. I did not write it down and cannot remember where I found the advice. Anyone have any suggestions? |
