Hey!
Is there a way to change the language from English to Swedish without having to buy a new license?
It gets pretty damn expensive to buy a new license.
Thanks in advance! _________________ Jonas Karlsson |

Do you know anyone else who has a Swedish version of Photoshop?
The language is unfortunately tied to your serial and cant be changed easily. There is a workaround however you would need to know someone with a Swedish version of Photoshop for it to be possible. |

OK this is all care no responsibility as you will be playing with Photoshops data files outside of the program. I have tested this with the french language files and it worked fine although I cant read french
You should have a folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Locales\en_GB\
The contents of this folder is the language data.
Your friend should have a folder, something along the lines of C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Locales\se_SE\
(se_SE is just a guess at what it will be called but it should be fairly obvious as there will probably only be one language file in \locales\ and the name will have something to do with your language)
You need to backup all the folders and files inside your \en_GB\ folder and then delete them so the folder is empty.
Then you need to get your friend to send you his \se_SE\ folder with all its contents and copy it into C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Locales\ and your done.
See picture to how my folders look with English switched to french.
That's pretty much it. Good luck. Make sure to back up all your files. |
