Extreme difficulty in using photoshop. It's like the anchor point for brushes, text, etc, shifts. For instance, I select the brush and click in an area, and the painted ares appears somewhere else. I can click 3 or 4 times, it will paint elsewhere, then finally 'catch up' to where the cursor is:

If I use a line tool, I click on a spot, and the lines draws itself to the left, off the page. I have to erase and try a couple of times before it is right:

Text drives me crazy. It will be anywhere. I have to zoom out and look for it:

It is killing my production time, and it is very frustrating. I'm on a laptop, running Win 7 CS5
Thanks

Make certain that your video drivers are up to date.

Video driver is up to date. I tried changing the mouse, but same problem. I guess if there are no solutions, I may try to uninstall CS5 photoshop and do a new install.

Anyone have any other thoughts?

Here is a more clear example of text skewing off page.

The second time, instead of going to the bottom of the page, it went to the left.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening, would be well received!

Problem resolved. The baseline shift was off. It was set at -1000 or more. Correcting that fixed all problems.
