Welcome to the forum. What's the image that you are starting with? It looks like it could be done with channels, but the image you are attempting to alter it would probably be wise if you could post it. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Dear,
I've placed the image on the same page now.

Thanks for having a look at it.

Its a instagram filter. It would help if you knew which ones were used as there seems to be a few people around who like to duplicate them in Photoshop.
In Photoshop it can be done by changing the colour curves/channels as Mr Hermit touched on. (Howdy Hermit)
Adobe Lightroom can also be used for this type of effect.
Either way its going to take a decent play with the settings unless someone who is a seasoned hipster can give you some precise values. |

Add 3 reference points for highlights to shadows. Mark the CMYK values of those points. Convert the document from RGB to CMYK. Add a channels adjustment layer and input the 1st set of values for the curves in the individual channels. Do this also for the 2nd and 3rd set of values.
You will have to add a mask to each curve layer and the effect will only be approximate, but it should get you started.
Oh and hi Auieos, I noticed you had burst back in, good to hear your pearls cast before us swine again! _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Yeah its good to pass through the bad part of town every now and again to remember where you've come from.
I'm actually half way through a year long online course which has been taking up all of my time in front of the computer, which is the reason I have been absent from here. |

You can create such effect by simply using some curves adjustment layer combined with HDR toning . _________________ Our aim is to provide high quality adobe Photoshop tutorials to all the levels, from beginners to advanced and make them pursue their own business and work. |
