my photoshop has crashed, on my mac. I have been slowly getting my personal settings back. I have saved my tool pallets and everything that can be saved, so they are all OK. I reset my colour space & preferences.

BUT my clone tool has gone a bit haywire. Instead of alt click & cloning in, its sampling the area & moving that around as the mouse moves. I don't ever remember this happening before in 15 years of upgrades & reinstalls/re-personalisation!

Sure its a simple setting, but I cannot figure out what that is!

thanks in advance guys!
