Hello once again everyone.

I am posting again to ask your advice and to ask for your help recreating an effect.

The effect is to recreate the white, bright sheen and/or gradient contained in these pics. I already know how to crop out characters, but I need help recreating the colored background.

Here's two images along with red lines around what I want to recreate.

If you need more clarity, ask me and I'll try to explain it better. But I thank you in advance for your help.

You know the paint bucket tool? Right click it and you can do a gradient...
Just make an empty layer underneath the render and use that gradient tool.

you right click the paint bucket and select "gradient tool"> choose foreground color( on my first example i used a pink) then which ever way you want the gradient to travel just click and drag from bottom to top in this case and the further you move the cursor outside the bounds of whatever your working on the larger the gradient will be... here are some examples i just came up with in the last 5 mins, you can also change the background color and have a 2 color gradient like my second one... hope this helps im always open to questions :)
