I am running a windows7 based pc and have had PhotoshopCS5 and Elements 9 on it for the last two years. Yesterday they started not to run, as soon as they open I get a message that they closed with some kind of problem. Then windows searches for the problem and comes up with these files in question but they mean nothing to me. Have uninstalled and reinstalled both with no luck. The files are:
C:\Users\Debbie\AppData\Local\Temp\WEREAAC.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
C:\Users\Debbie\AppData\Local\Temp\WEREB.tmp.appcompat.txt
C:\Users\Debbie\AppData\Local\Temp\WER2D0.tmp.hdmp
Any help will greatly be appreciated.
PS Bridge and Lightroom 4 run fine

I'm a more of a graphic monkey, so can't really talk on the code monkey platform with ease, but I think that these are temporary files, that contain info about your problem (this is where I'm out).

Sorry not to answer your question. Have you installed any plugins or similar recently that you could trace the problem to?

Thanx for answering. Today I uninstalled both again, then reinstalled just cs5 and it has worked so I will waite awhile before installing elements. I only have it installed because I got it free.
