I've created a header for a webpage with with rounded corners using the rounded rectangle tool. When I go to save the image as a jpeg, png or gif it shows a white square background every time. Attached is just a sample to show what is going on.

Welcome to the forum griffy. Assuming you have transparency save as a PNG24. Only GIF or PNG24 allow for alpha transparency to be saved in the file.

I recreated it and saved it as a GIF all you have to do is right click the graphic and save it, it will have transparency.
