Hey guys.

I have a question I hope it is okay to post it here.

I have been using Photoshop for some time to create web graphics but recently, I ran into an issue. Normally my text is very sharp and high quality when using the text tool. As of late, the text quality is really terrible.

Maybe a setting that I messed with by accident?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks alot!
Mike.

Hi Spyder, welcome to the forums.

It would help a lot if you could post a screenshot.

Thanks for the reply.

Here are two examples. The first is a graphic where the text is of suitable quality. The latter for some reason is much lower quality text.

Here is the first:

created several months ago. The second was created yesterday, and I use Photoshop often, I just am not sure what could have caused this.

Here is a third as well, to show the bad text quality.

Now, I realize the quality isn't terrible. But I would greatly prefer to have it be similar to that of the first image.

Any further replies are much appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Mike.

Looks like it could be the anti-aliasing method set to none when your adding the text.
Its part of the text tool/character options.

Thanks for the reply.

That is indeed what the problem was. I function, I wasn't even aware of. Thanks a lot for the help, I do appreciate it and I can get back to work.

Have a great day!

Mike.
