Hey everyone, I have scoured the internet for hours regarding this so I hope someone can help me. As the title states, it's not working for me.

So, I made some custom brushes and have been playing around with some concept art for a game I'm working on. I wanted to make a brush that is very much like a pencil, but with pen pressure controlled shape dynamics. I'm using:

PS CS5 64Bit
Yiynova MSP19
Windows7 64Bit

I get the error sign when I put anything to pen pressure. Hovering over it shows that it's reading as not having a pressure sensitive device tablet. This is of course, completely untrue. I have made sure the toggles on the top horizontal tool bar are set to allow pen pressure. No matter what I do, I can't get it to recognize my monitor tablet as pressure sensitive.

Solutions that I have tried:

1. Restart Photoshop
2. Unplug and plug in the MSP19.
3. Make sure I have the newest drivers install, and when I did, I reinstalled them.
4. Went through all the calibration tools and options on my computer regarding this.

Other tests I have done:
1. Checked pressure sensitivity in Artrage Pro.
- worked fine
2. Checked pressure sensitivity in Sketchbook Pro
- worked like a charm.
3. Made sure the calibration tool could detect the pressure sensitivity.
- worked completely flawless.

Everywhere I look on the internet, someone posts about this topic and then never gets a real answer or they figure it out and don't update the thread. I'll take any information I can get my hands on. I would just forego Photoshop and use another program, but I am not aware of another program that allows for custom brushes like Photoshop, and they can be really awesome for texturing.

I also tried searching this forum and no matter how I serached it returned a ridiculous number of search results, so I apologize if there is indeed a good thread for this already, I'm more than happy to take a redirect.

I'm desperate, any help would be appreciated.

Try downloading the v4.13 driver from here
http://www.waltop.com/file/Download/20110504_DriverV4.13.zip
If that doesn't work use v4.12 from the yiynova website

Oh, I didn't realize there was another site to get a newer driver than 4.12, which is what I got off the yiynova site. Trying it now, hope it works!

And.... IT WORKED!

That is awesome. Guess I didn't do enough scouring. Your the King! Thanks for finding that new driver for me.

Still kind of funky how it didn't work with Photoshop when it worked with everything else though, but I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. Thanks!

Glad it worked.
Yiynova should probably lift their game and keep the drivers updated.
