Hey all,
Having an issue with my Photoshop interface that is driving me nuts. Check it out,

The checkered background outside of the canvas is driving me up a wall! I can't figure out how to return that to the original gray solid background. When I am trying to mess with multiple layers, it looks all fawked up.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks guys!
PS: I am running CS5.
PS2: Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. PS2 is awesome! |

First try right clicking the affected area to see if any options come up that help.
Then try
Edit > Preferences > Transparency and Gamut |
