Posted: Tue Aug 07, 2012 2:28 pm Post subject: Printing Issue with CS4 and mac OS 10.8
I just installed OS 10.8 on my iMac. I am running CS4 and an epson 3880. I have installed the new epson driver and have the printer working fine on non adobe programs. However, when attempting to print from photoshop all of the print preparation screens seem to come up normally, I select print after setting up all the parameters, the printer icon comes on for 3-5 seconds with a yellow 1 in the upper left hand corner then goes out and nothing happens. If I had to guess the file is being sent to the wrong place. I have removed all the other printers without solving the problem.
This is a new issue. The printer has been working fine and does well on other than this program. Unfortunately, it is the cornerstone of my production.
I am not a computer guy. I am a 64 year old helicopter test pilot. If you have an idea of how to correct the problem present it like you are communicating with a 10 year old so I can understand and in return I will not ask you about translating tendency.

Welcome to the forum. I'm afraid I have no clue as to your problem, I just didn't want you to feel ignored
On a complete guess basis... Did your problem start after installing the new driver?
Other than that without revealing your settings for both printer and graphics programs and your general settings for the computer/OS, it may make it tough for other people to help diagnose your issue.
