Hi,
I've scanned an old b&w into a tiff file for retouching, fixing etc but when its printed out I'm seeing a slight red hue (that's not seen on the monitor image). Color correction is not available to use (its grayed out). What are my options to correct this?
Thanks. |

Even if your hardware is playing up there is one method that can't really fail you - colour correct by numbers. I could drone on for hours about it and re-hash others work, instead I will provide a link or two (bookmarks willing).
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~larrykin/pshop/color_correct_one.html
This next link is my all time golden resource - I give the URL with a slight feeling of opening Pandora's box for you and others, it is a website belonging to Steven Marsh and is packed full of THE most useful info and theories.
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~binaryfx/PSTV_links.html#H - Check out the curves, levels and colour correction catagory.
Otherwise do a Google for Colour Correct by Numbers
Hope that clears the muddy waters some. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
