Hey everyone
I just install CS6. I tried to make a vector (that's the only thing I do with photoshop. so pen is the only tool I use in photoshop. Weird, isn't it? Big Grin)
But I have some problems with pen tool.
1- I can't edit shapes that I made by pen while it's hidden. I could do it in cs5
I really need it when I'm drawing th shape.
2- When I select the layer of a shape, I have to see the borders of the shape. But when I want to set the Opacity it's very annoying. In cs5 I could hidden the borders by clicking on the layer for second time.
3-Clicking on anchor points and tangent lines are very hard. You need to click EXACTLY on the point.

Now the main question is "How can I make Pen behave just like in cs5?"

Thank You.
Sajjad

Hey Sajjad, welcome to the forums.

1. If you click on the layer with the hidden shape you can still edit it.
2. In CS6 you need to press ctrl/command h to hide or reveal the shape outlines.
3. I don't have any problems with that. You can always zoom in to select the point/curve more easily.

Whilst appreciating the answers, I sympathise with Shadow-Man; the cursor changes are annoying to say the least - and don't get me started on the crop tool! :)

Thank you Frank so much.
1- What a shame! This one didn't change from cs5. Next time I should try a little to fix my problem on my own before posting it.
2- It was much easier in cs5. But I usually say welcome to changes. I'll get use to it.

Thank you again.

Yea, the cursors require some getting used to. The crop tool on the other hand if you prefer the previous version then you can checkmark "use classic mode" (along with some other settings) in the options bar.

Hi,
I have another problem with new changes in cs6
A new shape used to have opacity same as previous shape in cs5.
For example when I change opacity of a shape to %60, next shapes had opacity of %60 too. But in cs6, I have to set every single opcity.
It become very hard when you make thousands of shapes

You can now set the opacity of multiple layers at once. But I think in your case it would be better if you press the 6 key after you've made the shape to set the opacity to 60%.
