How do I choose an area of my image and use it as the "color" for my Brush tool or another tool.
Example: I have some grass, and here I use the lasso tools to select a small area to subsequently be able to paint with it.

Select the area of grass then copy it to a new canvas and trim any borders around the edges.
Go to Edit > Define Pattern and save the grass as a new pattern.
Then return to your original image and select the pattern stamp tool.
Change the pattern to grass in the box on the top toolbar.
Paint the new grass. |
